lexmark 2050 windows XP driver?

Hi all,

I have been all over the place loking for a driver for my old lexmark 2050 printer. It seems lexmark does not make one for any NT based os for the printer. Has anyone made a good custom driver for it if so please let me know post a link or something. Thanx sooo much in advance if you can help me out.

set a restore point backup your config and install the WinMe/98 one(you will have to ignore the WinXP nonWHQL-certified warning)u sometimes you can force the driver sometimes you can't XP has what's called compatibity mode not sure if can be used on a printer..I was able to use a USB ADSL modem with Win98 drivers until the modem maker provided updated ones as always YMMV
