Electronicswatch.com is selling a decent ink jet for $9.99 after Mail In Rebate... decent quality printer, for under $10, its hard to beat. I can't figure out how to link directly to the product's page, but the rebate form is available right before checkout.

I recently brought Z31 from BestBuy.com for $20 - $40MIR shipped. I got almost $20 back.

BTW Lexmark's ink catridges are way too expansive. They cost 30-50% more than HP, canon and EPSON's. Be warned.

That is why you buy their printers when they are cheap. When the ink runs out just buy another printer.

That rebate for $30 is only good at Office Max. Too bad the $40 rebate wont work at Staples.

If you bought the Z31, this one( the Z11) uses the same cartridges. Look on the cartridge box. If this deal works it is cheaper than buying new cartridges. Sell the printer, or give it away. Always look for Lexmark printer deals that use the same cartridges as your printer.

If you are purchasing a refurbished Z11 for the ink cartridge you should be aware that they all ship with a 12A1440 ink cartridge. You won't find that listed any place since it is not sold directly. It is a Lexmark Demo cartridge with about 1/3 the ink that is in the 12A1980 cartridge that comes with a new Z11. Only if you get it for free is it worth while!

Does someone have a link to the Lexmark Z31 printer rebate? I bought
the printer from BestBuy during their special, but I can't find
the rebate on the Lexmark site...

Either a link to the site, or a link to an off-site copy that
someone made would be fine...

Thanks,

Kwad

The problem with the refill on Lexmark model is the print head that comes with the ink-cartridge won't last very long...

Take it from a guy that knows. The lexmark refill kits (color or otherwise) are the way to go. I've used both, and i have no problem with them. If you are printing photo quality (i.e. 1200x1200 min) then you will deffinately run out of ink quickly, whether you have canon or otherwise. Lexmark makes good quality printers and the refill kits make them cheap to refill. And, NO! i'm not lexmark's bitch. Peace, and happy holidays.
