Lexington Institute a good source?

a little bit - but from what i'm reading not everything they say falls in line with what W is selling. i find that refreshing at least...

Reading through the bios and doing a little googling on those that don't specify it there.....each member of their board has strong Republican ties. For what that is worth.

"The Lexington Institute believes in limiting the role of the federal government to those functions explicitly stated or implicitly defined by the Constitution. The Institute therefore actively opposes the unnecessary intrusion of the federal government into the commerce and culture of the nation, and strives to find nongovernmental, market-based solutions to public-policy challenges. We believe a dynamic private sector is the greatest engine for social progress and economic prosperity."

From their mission statement.

I've never heard of them, so I dont know what kind of reputation they have. They dont have any real big names on their board, which is somewhat unusual for a think tank, so I'm guessing they're a pretty small fry.

yeah, i guess conservative is sort of a dirty word anymore.
i meant more of a Conservative sort of thing. i shouldnt have been so lazy in my typing. i dont really think W is in line with a lot of the traditional conservative ideals.
