Mkay, I'm getting a Digicam for Christmas (Canon A70) and I want to buy a nice big CF Card for it so I dont have to download the images off of it every hour so I'm thinkin about getting a Lexar 256MB card. Now for the conundrum A lot of the cards I see are 12x, some 32x, and a few 40's. My question is do any of you think its worth the extra ~$30 CDN to buy the 40x? Any advantages? Quicker image download? Lemme know! Thanks

BTW: I swear to god if I see someone say 'Eh, ~$30 CDN, thats like 50 cents American? Eh? Eh? Eh?

i just bought a 40x 256. for 115. plus tax. imo its worth it. you may as well get the best, if its not that much more expensive right?

In the Canon A70, there will be no difference at all. The only place you will notice a difference is if you use an external compact flash reader to copy the pictures onto your computer. I've got a Canon S400 with a 256mb Lexar 12x and I'm happy with it.
