Lexar 256MB Lexar CF Card for $89 at Tiger Direct

Im not sure how much it matters, but the lexar cards I use are 12x, not sure what the mr flash ards are though, you can also get 4 64mb cards from outpost for $80, if ya like using smaller cards

do you know what the price diff is for shipping between the 2 places??

I saw it for 94 after instant rebate and $20 MIR at Micro center today... think it was Lexar (could have been Sandisk)

mr flash supposedly doesnt work with my kodak dc280---found that out just b4 i ordered awhile ago

got the viking 128mb from buy.com for 50

this is a quote from the link that I posted above.... I guess the Lexar would be better value for money

I recently bought a 256MB CF card from newegg.com for my Nikon 990; couldn't pass up the $90 price tag. It works fine, but it's write speed is slowwwwwwwwww. I use the "Fine" setting for most of my work, and I wait nearly 40 seconds to take each successive shot. I ended up giving the thing to my brother for his PDA. I ponied up the bigger bucks and got two Lexar Pro Series 16x 192 MB cards for about $170 each, and life is good now; lightning fast in comparison. A classic case of "getting what one pays for", I guess...
