I need some help with this,
so escargot (sp?) and crustacians (sp?) are not acceptable to eat?
im just trying to comprise a list of animals that it says are an abomination to eat
any help?

Under the old covenant, yes. Thanks to the new covenant, we can eat without restriction: Acts 10:13- "Then a voice told him, 'Get up, Peter. Kill and eat.'"

The only animals you may eat are those which have completely split hooves and chew their cud. The only fish you may eat are those with fins and scales.

Being a religious Jew these are the only animals I've ever eaten.

Pretty much sums it up. I guess religious Jews must still ascribe to all the laws in leviticus? (am I correct ThePresence?)

Some laws are only in effect when the temple was/will be standing in Jerusalem after the messiah arrives. But for the dietry laws, yes they are all in effect.
