I'll keep this real simple. Most men don't understand the mechanics involved with wiping their ass effectively. Therefore, most men should wash their denim. I wear my jeans weekly, but I only wear them in the office. If I work or sweat in them, then they get washed at the end of the day.
Some people sweat a lot and they quite literally smell like an ass crack. If they don't wash their jeans, then they will be truly rancid individuals.
So, do you wash your jeans?

Ah... the glory of a green future, where environmentally friendly people do not bathe or wash their clothes.

The standard method for breaking in raw denim is to wear them nearly every day for 6 months before the first wash. In my experience if they're hung up to air out they won't develop any unpleasant odor, but I imagine that might vary from person to person.

My shit doesn't stink so, there's that.

Seriously, I heard the interview on the radio with that guy. All I'm thinking about is the smell of ass crack, stink palm you name it.

Hey, now I can tell my wife to get off my ass about wearing my jeans for a week or two between washings.

This is just silly. Coming from a CEO who has unlimited supply to his own product, does not really 'use' jeans as they were initially intended (durable, heavy duty pants to protect, worn by cowboys, miners, farmers, etc).

He just wants you to buy new pair of jeans instead of washing your existing pair.

Only teenagers wear jeans.

I will give you a hint here. Try wearing underware.

It is hell when that zipper snags.

Yeah, that's fine for people who don't do any real work.

I'll continue to wash my no more than every other wearing.

Besides, denim feels so much nicer after it's been broken in by washing a bunch (I don't care if my jeans look "fresh" as long as they feel nice).

How do you know this?

Because most of the time when a man gets up off their chair, the chair smells like POOP. Its ok though. Ass wiping is a learned thing and it requires that the person actually cares about not smelling like a rancid turd.

This is a remarkably odd statement. I hadn't worn jeans since I was a kid until about November when I got a couple pair on a Black Friday sale. I must say I love wearing them, comfortable as hell. I honestly don't think I know a single adult who I've for sure never seen in jeans. I actually had friends comment when they saw me in jeans since it was literally the first time for many of them.

So....

You don't get strange looks when you run in and sniff the seat after someone stands up?

Must be hell to spend your whole life in the IT depatment. I wear slacks and or tie only when I have to. Life's great in the field.

Denim is naturally antibacterial. You can sweat with the nastiest swampass imaginable, hang up the jeans overnight so that they dry in the air. Give them a quick whiff in the morning (foul smells = bacteria), and you'll be surprised that they smell like FRESH DENIM!
