Levels of warmth of clothing materials?

JEDI

Lifer
Silk < Cotton < Wool < Fleece (Polartec) < Down < Primaloft < Thinsulate?

Is that correct?

if not, then what's the correct order?

you left out linen

may want to include flannel and/or denim, even though they are just different versions of cotton

what about gortex?

Why don't you put the topic summary in the actual post? It would make it easier to read, and more people would actually reply. In the topic summary, put in a tiny explanation of the thread, e.g.: how different kinds of clothing materials affect you warmth.

And also, isn't Thinsulate usually more than one material (literally two different layers of two different materials)?
