letters not appearing when I type

I have a GF2 GTS 32meg, using dets 6.4x (47 or 49). Recently I have noticed in Internet Explorer that occasionally a letter won't appear when I type it... it appears sometimes when I type the next letter, and sometimes only if I select it (with the mouse). Then it stays. Is the card dying? Driver problem? IE5.5/Win98se problem?

I haven't noticed issues under linux, in DOS mode or in 3d (but of course I dont type much in 3d, and dos commands aren't as long as my anandtech posts 😉)
