In case you have any doubts about how these scum think.

They are waiting for us to tuck tail and run.
So go ahead and play right into thier hands.

We already played into their hands by invading, pulling out and letting them have their way is inevitable.

even bush's daddy said this at the end of first gulf war.

it will be the same death as the soviets....

osama and friends in afganistan bled the ussr dry and these chickenhawks wish the same fate for our country...

sadly their small pen0r complex is more important then common sense.

crack a history book on the soviet union and how it fell, you will be quite surprised it was not almighty raygun that brought them down, it was a 10 year long occupation and guerilla warfare with a resisting people that bankrupted them.

yay! lets play david and goliath again...lesse if we can help osama on a 2-0 streak

You can start a collection plate now and start sending more of your families money right now to pay Haliburton and the Military Industrial Complex.. or just wait until the politicians take it from you...

Anyone who doesn't support this war is a traitor and a non-patriot...

If you don't support this war then you support the terrorists .. even if we did create them ;)

Two words, very suspicious.

Letter sent on July 9th, comes to light after approval ratings and support for Iraq war at an all time low. In this technological age, letters are used by top al-Qaeda officials to communicate by al-Zawahri and al-Zarqawi? Letter intercepted by a senior US intelligence official. The same intelligence who could not intercept any such communications to prevent or tip off 9/11. Letter says in a nutshell, if it weren't for them dern Americans and their presence, we would be running the show and we would have our own Islamic State. Letter basically supports everything Bush has been force feeding the sheep. Color me very skeptical of its authenticity. It is possible that we composed the letter to drum support back up, sure is. But the Bush fanbois will (and already have) eagerly lapped it up as the gospel. Mission accomplished.

the continued left wing babble about how this all started with our invasion of Iraq is so old and tired.

911 happened far in advance of Iraq...this is a group of people who crash airplanes into buildings, murder shoppers in the marketplace, saw off heads, strap bombs to children.

this is a pestilence that will not be pacified or go away if we ignore it.

Your mindset is the same as when the french gave up Paris without a shot to the nazi's.
in WW2

edit: and the reason Iraq is the focal point is we have been successful in Afghanistan

Iraq is focal point

it wasn't before we invaded. the one positive out of the invasion is that it drew the hornets out of their nests. But in the end, will the human cost be worth it?

aq is not a country, nor are they out for a land grab from western powers, they want western powers out.

your analogy is flawed to the core just like your view on history...

I'm willing to bet in 20yrs Afghanistan will be pre-taliban, or part of Pakistan. the leader of the taliban, osama bin laden are still running free. that is hardly a success.

You mean, Did we attack Iraq like the Nazis attacked the Poles, much more direct corellation about the falsification of reasons to attack another nation.
