Lets talk jobs - Computer Systems Analyst ?

I need to write a paper for a class. I get to choose a career and write about it, what I already know, what I learned and the conclusions I have made from my research. So I chose Computer Systems Analyst. Now assuming my sources weren't out of date, this job exsists.

So can anyone tell me a little more about it, maybe direct experience, some places to get information or interviews. Anything would help. Is this a broad term for a certain area of work? Or is this a specific job?

Thanks

Thats a vauge job title and probably means different things at different companies. pick something a little more specific

like Junior Tech Support or Iinformation Director or Software Developer or Tie Fighter Pilot

Largely outdated term IMHO. It's just too vague to be useful...like many titles in the IT profession.

YEAH, that's like so 10 years ago.

choose MIS.

That's a degree, not a true job title. Yes, there are people who are "MIS"..but they could be a $10 an hour help desk tech or a $40 or more an hour network guru.

Thanks for help, I've already gotten the first part of the paper done. Sadly most of my info is from 1995.....

The teacher probably wont know, but I feel like I'm getting nothing out of this.
The main thing is I need a lot info so I can actually make a paper out of it. That's why choosing an uncommon specific job probably isn't the best way to go.

i say pick a better job like Philanderer. Some people might say its more of a lifestyle then a job but it has been open to debate
