I had the rare pleasure of meeting Mindi ABair in person in 2001. Wife and I were passing by a pub within a casino where she was playing. I loved the sound, so I popped the door opened and poked my head in. They were finishing their piece and I turned to leave, but she motioned us over. We chatted for a bit and we left, but I couldn't foget how friendly she was.

Anyway, you guys are gonna want pics, so here is the video.

Saw Barbara Mandell live, she played several instruments during the show, one was a large sax,(bass?), it was almost as big as she, I think she's only about 4' 10".

I saw Rod Stewart on Letterman last night. His sax player was pretty hot. She did a fine job.

Edit: Wow! I just watched the OP's vid. Mindi looks just like Rod's sax player. Nice.

Listening to her song Come As You Are, I thought it was going to be a Nirvana cover.

She is very talented, and I really enjoy her sound.
