We all love it when a bird takes a giant acidic dump on our waxed car, don't we? I mean, else, what are we going to decorate our cars with? Stickers? Nonsense!

Anyways, so every now and then, a bird would decide to leave its excrement on my car. Even though I can clean the crap off, but it leaves an indelible mark on my car, almost as if it's burnt into the wax and I can't get it off, even with the clay bar.

So, short of taking a buffer to the car and take the clear coat off, what's the best way to get rid of the bird crap mark? D:

Just had to clean up bird crap this afternoon off the hood of my car. My car seems a prime target for the gulls when it's parked next to the building I work at.

I do not park outdoors anymore for fear of bird dropping.
I don't park outside, but it just seems that these birds are master of fly by bombing... Like today, after Mrs. Sssnail picked me up from work, as soon as I parked the car in the garage and as I was about to close the door, I notice a huge bird dump on my hood. Just got the car respray the hood and bumper too... Damn birds!

We need to invent an auto airsoft/bb gun turret to mount on top of cars. Like Anti-Aircraft, but for shooting down (well, shooing away) crap-bearing birds.

Birds suck. Crap on whatever they want, and perch on your chimney and start hollering at 5 am...

I'm srsly going to single handedly make mourning doves extinct if they keep this shit up. Go be horny somewhere else whores.

We have very few trees around us and consequently, no bird poop. I can't remember the last time I had any bird poop on my car.

That. It should work and it smells awesome 😀

I never realized that car detailing products smell so good. Or maybe it's just me... 😵
That stuff doesn't work on the bird crap. Even if I get the crap off as soon as possible, it leaves an impression of the crap splatter, and that's almost impossible to take off.

I was thinking of training a hawk to watch my car, but then I'll have train the hawk not to crap on, or in, my car...D:

If you had a hawk trained to protect your car it would be worth the hawk spots. You could even teach it to catch dinner and bring it to you.

If you leave bird shit alone long enough, it will eat into the clear coat. If it doesn't come off with a robust wash, you'll have to polish it out.

A couple of tricks with bird crap.. First, never ever let it dry. Even 1 day is enough to etch into the clearcoat depending on the bird's diet.

Also, put a warm wet towel on the poo and let it soak to soften then gently dab it away.
