Well, here goes.
Here is my rack with my printer sitting on the Buffet
next to it.
The top machine is an AMD 700mhz Slot1 processor, running DXCluster for Amateur Radio.
Next to it is a 12V power supply, radio, and TNC(radio modem).
My cable modem and router is under the shelf.
My 1.6 gig Win 98 machine - game server...
The machine on the bottom is my dually 1800+ runnin Linux.
UPS systems and 4 port KVM switch on the bottom. Rack is complete with thermostat controlled
exhaust fan in the top of the rack.
Fanage with thermostat.
This is the Rack with the door closed...

Oh yeah, that is a lot of my 38 and 45 reloading stuff and it is very heavy. Those SMJs and 230g pin smashers do need to be moved to a different location. The door that can be seen in one of the photographs is a storage locker for heavy components. I still have around a 1,000 #s of lead shot (in 25# sacks) stored in there ... need to sell that stuff and make room. ;)

I need to remember to bring my digcam for some shots of setup. Fortunately, my machines survived because they are all clothed. The worst damage turn out to be the Celery@1.7 which had the faceplate off for cooling and now it won't fit on anymore.

I'm looking for a decent server cabinet like that. Not much, but sturdy enough to hold what I have. I've heard of people picking them up cheap at flea markets & sometimes 2nd hand stores, but I haven't had that type of luck. I've also been on top of several offices in the city, waiting for them to upgrade, but sofar, nothing has shown up. I still want to build a nice cluster, & have a good source for cheap 1u chassis, but nowhere to put them. If worse comes to worse, I may just take a peace of furniture, & mod it to fit the chassis.

I wish i had a setup like that i just got my 3 rigs crunching away like crazy... the lappy dosent like not being turned off, it gets really mad some days... Then it will turn its self, off because it has over heated or what have you and i start screamin no... no you need to cunch wu's and i stick it in the freezer for a few min to get it up and crunching real quick(In a plastic bag to keep out moisture) but them i have th other 2 rigs cruncing away....hmmm... idea, build a rack out of my giant freezer... that should keep it cool enough for some crazy crunching.... :)... i gotta go gonna build some rigs... and figure out how to mod a freezer to prevent moisture on the rigs....

Notice the fans in this photo...you can see the blades. They were "ON" when the photo was taken. Great shutter speed on the Kodak Digital Camera!
Damn, you're telling me.

Ok, here's some pics.

This first one is of an amd xp 2000 running off a floppy and yes it was running when I took the pic.
#2 P3 dualy and p4 2.6c/hyperthreading
#3 just an old p2 450
#4 the whole setup with a celeron 2.5 and celeron 2.6 on top and a p3 933 below.

It's kinda funny, before I joined the team I only had three computers, now I have seven and just ordered a new P4 2.8e for my P4c800e mobo and I'm waiting on another amd xp 2400 and mobo. I think I'm addicted. :D:beer:

BTW all pics taken with a Fuji finepix 4900z with excellent shutter speed. :D

The top machine is taking "DX Spots" from the internet and transmitting them to the local hams in my area.
Kinda like a wireless internet thing, only lower in frequency. "DX Spots" are proof of long distance
contacts using ham radios to people on other continents/countries. I taught myself Linux when
I built this box. I actually compiled my own kernel and left out all of the extemperaneous(sp) hooha,
that would slow down the computer, or make it unstable.

Anyway, that's what it is.
I have tooo many hobbies.
