Let's see your portraits!

A year and a half after asking to see everyone's landscapes, I want to see everyone's SINGLE favorite portrait ever taken. Let's see what AT-DVC has!

Post one portrait for everyone to see. Let's put the gear and tech talk away for one thread and just enjoy each other's work and maybe gain some inspiration from each other.

I'll post mine tonight when I can dust off and upload to my Flickr account that I haven't used in forever but is the only way I know how to host for posting to AT.

tdawg - Google Photos should have an option to get a link to your photo so you can share.

there is another picture i took of him on the beach that i liked better but my wife didn't post it on facebook. love the color of the water in that picture though. that was literally like the 10th picture or so i took with the new lens.

that's the first thing that sticks out to me in a photo also, but I decided to overlook it.

Yea I leveled the top railing of the balcony, but the floor is not lined up. Too many damn lines to deal with.

Glad to see everyone's participation so far. Great photos everyone!

LR's auto lens corrections usually fixes any perspective issues to fix both horizontals and verticals. Give that a try (if you use LR)

It's a complicated fix since the top of the railing is squared away, so maybe I'd have to rotate the picture some and then do a horizontal scaling. Perhaps next time I'm in LR I'll see what auto spits out. I used to care a lot more about tiny things like this to the point of not sharing my work if I couldn't fix it, but I've realized that the only people who notice those tiny things are other photographers. The general audience doesn't see these things at all so I've learned to stop wasting my time when possible.

Alright I'm game. Besides this forum turned me on to m43 so I feel I owe you a shot or two 😀

My youngest... her eyes get me every time to I see this.

Hey Crotulus - The eyes definitely draw you in... great shot, and good to know this forum helped you out! It's felt a bit slow here lately so it's good to see you post here!
