Its free which is a win. Just be sure to overlap each photo by about 1/2, it can also pull from video though I have yet to try that.

So I was able to use ICE to put together a pano I had been wanting to do for a while. I happened to walk out of my office a couple months ago to this huge rainbow, I was fortunate to have my camera, but no tripod. I snapped some portrait shots handheld in series, but other stitching programs I tried made a mess trying to put them together since they weren't very stable. ICE was about to get a pretty nice image after a bit of tweaking.

Anyone recognize this?

Did you help Sean Connery out of the prison again? 🙂

Super impressive work everyone! Thanks for tagging the location Spoooon, my wife has gone out to Asheville a few times to visit friends, and that makes me want to go with her next time!

How many of you used filters while taking your shots? I have a polarizer, but I feel like the difference is so subtle and somewhat able to be compensated for in post.

Thanks Syborg. Asheville is great for a number of reasons, particularly the breweries. 😀

No polarizer for me, but I think that with a good one and knowledge of it's use it could make a difference, particularly with reflective surfaces like water.
