I should have some pictures floating around somewhere. too tired to put new ones up. plus, it's usually not beneficial for females to put up their pictures on ATOT, as i have experienced. :p

Dayum you grow that yourself?

Nah, they shipped them to my workplace to put on display for Halloween. That was #3. We had the #1 (world record) sized one, but I didn't get to see it before it collapsed into pieces literally 12 hours after being carved.

Me and my oldest daughter

Someone should chop this picture like that crime investigator show (whatever it is - can't recall as I don't watch TV) everyone likes to post pictures of. Surely there's something going on reflected off that shiny head of yours. :)

Damn. That's impressive, Koing. Although I can't watch these videos ever since I saw that one video where the dude blew out his you know what.

Question for ya, on the later lifts I notice you carry the bar in a position further back, more over your neck. Do you worry about dropping and doing some serious damage?

The first lift is the Snatch, wide grip, one move to move the bar from floor to over head.

The second lift is the Clean and Jerk,

Clean, from floor to across shoulders
Jerk from shoulders to over head

Feet must come together before the refs say 'down' then you drop the bar.

You learn to take a small step backwards and let the bar go forwards and I started competing 12yrs ago when I was 15. I did 35/45 at my first comp :p you build the strength and control to lift big weights. If you spent about 6-10hrs each week for most of 12yrs you'd lift a reasonable amount also. I did some stupid stuff and lost out on training through non lifting injuries :(, gymnastics = 9months, knees from moutain boarding and kiting fails :(. I never get hurt in the gym so I've had to cut down all of the other stuff.
