Ok, I'm lookin to see some benchmarks...SiSoft, Q3, just a broad range. Also, I would like you to list relevent h/w and what your oc/tweaks are (bus speeds, etc) And, if your feeling ambitous, I would really like to see benchmarks for both stock then your oc'd settings. It would be nice if we could get a place to compare specs and get an idea what my/your computer can do vs. what the "average" is... I'm trying to leave it open as far as what you do, be it Q3, SiSoft for memory/cpu/hard drive or whatever you feel like posting...

800 T-Bird
Abit KT7-RAID
128 Infineon PC133 CAS 2
ATI Radeon 32 ddr

Using SiSoft Sandra....

memory benchmark - 291 / 301 (Does that seem right?)
cpu benchmark - 2266 / 1109
more to follow...

No oc's / tweaks...yet..:)

As a last note...Thanks to everyone who helped me with my Radeon problem!

My 1Ghz Tbird at 1.1Ghz gets almost 8200 3DMarks. At 1.2Ghz with tweaked Bus, overclocked GeForce2 GTS and increased FSB I've posted 3DMark scores of 8400 3DMarks. Note: This is with PC100 SDRAM. I got a couple sticks of CAS2 PC133 SDRAM on the way, so there is definitly potential to push the system much much more.

I'm confident I'l be able to push my machine over the 10000 3DMark with the Ultra, if and when it drops in price and I purchase one. Currently they are $675.00 CDN. Too darn much!

Also, I get well over 300fps at 1024x768 16bit on that nifty fish screensaver people have been running. My Sandra scores are pretty impressive as well. I'll have to run it again and post the numbers for ya.

I also just finished building a system for a friend. With a few tweaks I managed to get consistant 3DMark scores of 8200+ with a Athlon 1ghz - non overclocked. It's a screamer.

Anyway, if you're registered, you can view one of my 3DMark 2000 1.1Ghz scores here

I've got an athlon 700
FIC SD11 mobo
128 pc100 RAM
ATI rage fury pro VIVO

I got a 2211 on 3dmark2000

How bad is that? I know it doesn't come close to rudee's 8400 but I've had my system for over a year and when I got it I didn't know anything.

I don't know how to do the other benchmarks. sorry

rudee: how much did you spend building your friends computer. I'm just curious.

I'm going to have to say that both Sandra and 3DMark are horrible benchmarks. Well actually 3DMark isn't a bad benchmark - just a very bad representation of real-world performance. How about some CC Winstone or some Evolva action? Oh wait, I must be the only person in this forum who actually orders Winstone CDs... lol

Wow, so after seeing some other benchmarks I was convinced my memory score was crap. Went into BIOS, set ram for 4-way interleave...Oh ya...

memory = 367/375

Also, if anybody has any good benchmark programs feel free to give the links!
