Lets play some Total Annihilation while we wait for Planetary Annihilation!

Finally a real sequel to Total Annihilation is on the way (Planetary Annihilation) and I want to celebrate by playing TA and sharing epic moments of battle with other RTS fans.

I am still part of the original TA community, but I stopped playing OTA back when the AA mod was taken over by Twilight and renamed TA: Twilight. I ended up following the AA mod to its port onto the Spring Engine (Modern engine like the supreme commander engine created specifically for TA) and I have since then been a daily TA player. The best part of the modern re-created version of TA other than the full 3D and strategic zoom (like supcom) is that it is completely free to download and play.

I am always looking for new RTS players to play TA with and since it's free there's nothing to lose.

While I do like TA I don't think it is right for you to be making topics advertising the kickstarter and PM'ing members to contribute. Especially since you are not a regular forum member.

Sorry QuantumPion, it was not my intention to promote PA or their kickstarter in any way, the kickstarter itself has ended so I am not pushing anyone to go contribute to anything. I was just trying to point people to what I was talking about if they didn't know about it. I have removed the link to the kickstarter so no one else thinks this.

My intention was to find like-minded people (RTS players) who were interested in playing some TA because it's amazing and it doesn't have enough players. I am always looking for new people to play with and am willing to help anyone who is interested set it up so they can play.
