Lets Play Critique the Website

When you click Journal it opens it in a new window. When you click go back to web site from the journal, instead of closing the journal window it opens a new instance of the web site.

maybe its just me, but though it looks nice on the side an all, can't he use the space for navigation? also i'm not that big of a fan of mysterymeat navigation (how he has leading characters on top, but you don't know what it is until you rollover).

those are my HI views, so if he doesn't like em, well its his site and not mine =)

I understand your concern regarding the navigation, Stephen says he likes it that way though, and won't change it. As for the first part of your message, I'm not sure what you mean. On the side of the site? In the white space you mean, he should use that as navigation?

How would you change it? Eliminate it from the front page and make it another page altogether? Thanks for the help guys.

First of all, it requires flash and jscript. Many points off for that. Text is unreadable, interface too small, no content, difficult to navigate. It looks the same as everything else.
Overall sloppy design.

I give it a 2 out of 10.
