That's a real shame. What the hell is Audi thinking?

Guess I'll just stick to the S5.

They'd sell the TT RS version...why wouldn't they?

demand for the TT, plain and simple. if the market is small, it may not make sense to bring it over. consider the TT RS's competition, assuming it's in the range of 60k or so.

as far as two seaters go, you have porsches, corvettes, 370z (at much lower price). at least, those are the ones coming to my mind.

60k is also super sedan territory - M3, RS4, CTS-V, IS-F, etc. granted they are sedans, but they are extremely powerful, desirable, and driveable cars.

i really like the new TT, although i sat in the TT-S at the Philly Auto Show and felt *very* cramped. i'm not saying Audi shouldn't bring it over - only that they might not have a good reason to do so if there isn't enough demand.

as i said, i rarely see any TT's on the road, old or new.

Interesting--I didn't know the TT was a two seat only--I guess that sort of explains it, although the BMW M coupe is a two seater, and it goes for 70k. 0-62 in 4.4 seconds though :D
