My rant:
Yeah, right - like he and his buddies will be there to take part and help fight.
This is a blatent, open challenge to keep hitting us, harder and kill more of our troops.
Irresponsible idoit that has no sense of responsibility for what he put them into.

The way that this Administration is making one stupid mistake after the other in foriegn policy
shows the shallowness of the thinking, and narrow mindset of the LACK of leadership.
Oh, that's right - he talks to God, so he just does what the voices in his head tell him to do. <B>

It's alot easier to kill a terrorist who is right in front of you with a gun than hiding in some remote mountain range planning and carrying out attacks on innocent civilians. We know they have poured into Iraq to fight, better that than a repeat of Afghanistan, they attack and call us to fight them there assuming we won't, then run like cowards when we show up. If we can get more fish in the barrel it will only make it easier.

I agree with alistar. Bush isn't say keep taking pot shots at us. he is saying you want a piece then bring it, otherwise your a little b!tch so STFU.

Thats the only way to spin this. Lets say there are 1000 iraqi snipers/whatever... it'd be better if we got them in a real battle then one or two at a time.

I don't know, I think I'd prefer these people stay in syria, saudia arabia, and chechyna and let us rebuild iraq. let them sit in their sh1thole and wait for us. but what do you want the president to say? please don't come and hurt us? i guess he could've said iraqi people don't want you, don't come.

I think G. blog describes the situation perfectly and the iraqi sentiments.

Believe it or not there is a sense of honor and shame in these groups, to not come and fight is akin to running home crying cause the school bully whipped you again. It's one thing to fire some rounds from your ak into the night sky and curse the infidels and pledge your allegiance to martyrdom, it's another to have everyone around you hear you called out and watch you do nothing. I would suggest most are cowards, let their own people see the same thing.

Don't think for a second the things happening in Iraq are general population attacks, they would not be sabotaging their own infrastructure and killing Iraqi's working to return the basic services they need.

Terrorism is a global issue, the more we can centralize things, the more damage we can do. BL could have stood and fought in Afghanistan, he could have called in all the gorups wordwide for the great battle, perfect place, not like there was much left to be destroyed. What did they do, they ran, scattered like little girls when they see a spider.

To hell with inviting them, let's just go get them, hunt down every single one of the SOBs, and torture them to death for any information.
