i was at home. my wisdom teeth were pulled out a few days earlier, and while i was mostly recovered and the swelling was gone, i unfortunately caught bronchitis. at 1030pm i spiked a fever of 104 and fell asleep. i slept through the millennium.

Laying in bed drinking champaigne by myself, with my wife laying next to me sleeping. She got mad at me for some non-sensical reason (it was litterally something like not loading the dishwasher correctly), so she went to sleep about 11:00pm :|

I've never quite forgiven her for that because for the rest of my life, that's what I'll have to tell people I did at the turn of the century.
