W00t!! They're tied for first by sweeping the royals this weekend, and are coming home for a 12 game home stand. GO A'S :D

EDIT: 4 straight losses at home? WTF!!

EDIT #2: They can gain a game tonight if they beat the Rangers :D

EDIT #3: Sigh :(

It's even better to preload with $.75 beers before the game. It's also always nice to sneak in the plastic "water" bottle of rum. $4 rum/cokes beats $7 beers :) --- Works well on BART too

I was there today and :(

We got the $2 seats, Third Level, Row 16. (There are 17 rows in the section we were in.) Nice overview look of the park, but there were a bunch of school kids around so we went down to the first level near the right field foul post. Tons of empty seats, so :)

I think he was injured in late August. They must be trying to get him back slowly.

EDIT: And they lost :|. The door is closing very quickly on the A's chances for the playoffs :(.

Look on the bright side, they were not expected to do this good, they developed 4 great rookies this year. The pitching staff when healthy, was great. After this year they can free up some money, Hatteberg, Durazo, Dotel, Ricon will be gone. If we can get a slugger with the extra cash. We have a geat shot for years to come. Go A's!

Yeah considering how they started off this year and the fact that they got rid of 2 of their Big 3 Pitchers I think they did great!

Well I for one never expected them to be THIS comeptitive this season. so Overall Im happy. We need more hitting. Maybe we should see if the Phil will give us Thome. That would be awesome.

There is gonna be a ittle housecleaning this season. Time to see if Wolff is willing to step up and put some money on this team.

I'm an Angels fan, but it is a testament to the A's that they came back from last place in the beginning of the season to first place a few weeks ago.

I am hoping the Angels get to the ALCS at least this year!!! Go Angels!

Next year? Those players get payed much dinero to produce, SO WHY NOT PRODUCE NOW?

Its your duty as fans to riot and let the team know that losing, and choking at the end of the year is UNACCEPTABLE!

Agreed. I think the A's did pretty well this year considering their young developing core of players and all of the injuries.

Now to watch this BoSox/Yankees/Indians race go down to the wire. Should be interesting.
