If I were you I'd just start wearing a tux to work everyday. And I would put 50 sticky notes on the trashcan with "Please Don't Move" signed Slycat

that's how you rebel in the workplace ;)

Mine is at least a formal buttoned up jacket from Bananarepublic. What he has problems with i dun fvkin know. Yes, he saw the insides of my jacket coz before the guests arrived i unbuttoned to go to the restroom. And yes, or NO, i am not gonna be the trashcan monitor. Fvckin he can do it himself if he needs it moved 2feet away. Also, i drove back to the office after finishing up at the dc, he arrived first so there was no way for me to 'correct' it to please him. Me, the moron? Well, if it means i have to do those things his way, then so be it. He can kiss my ass.

Ignore everyone else, just worry about you. If there aren't any rules, politely point him to the employee handbook and ask him to point out where it requires you to tuck in your shirt. Case closed. While I agree that HE should be the one, ultimately, to move the damn trash can if he's too picky about that kinda thing, but you're obviously way too upset by the issue. You can easily avoid his criticism by doing it yourself.

Instead of doing anything about your problems, you're just bitching on the net. I'm just busting your balls about it, man; don't take it seriously. :)

yeah...such hostility....

be like me and go to work in your undies ;)

then corner off the trashcan with police tape. And wrap yourself in saranwrap to keep the dust off.

BTW, you can't expect the motherfver to leave you the fvck alone as he is your boss and that you are UNDER his ass. Why don't you just grow up... I'm sure you've grown up at home or school, but I see that you haven't grown up socially and professionally. If you can't take his very decent recommandation, just 1. quit it 2. stop whinning 3. STFU.

You suck. If your employer requires that your shirt be tucked in, don't wear a shirt that's not meant to be tucked in. How hard is that? Presentation is everything, whether it be with new clients, higher-ups in the company, or potential new employees. If you see something that needs to be fixed, don't wait for someone else to fix it. STFU and fix it. If you know your boss is going to complain about something, don't be a bump on a log. FIX IT.

Yeah this is the grown ups world where u have to take crap from your boss and live with it. Now school/college life was different when we wud just say "bite me" and move on.

Tuck in your shirt,OR

get a job outside raking the lawns, pickup up dog crap, and then you can look like
an uncaring Non-professional office worker.

You work in an office?;)

Look well dressed, and well groomed;you will be treated with more respect.
I think if you Look like you were trying to live out "fight club" fantasy,
you might lose your nice job;especially if your attitude stays crappy,
at the least I don't see any promotion for you. :(

Suck it up. I'm sure he could make your life a living hell if he really wanted to. Is it really that hard to tuck in a shirt? Who the hell cares if it was ment to be untucked.

If important people are visiting, you should look professional. Doesn't matter if there isn't a dresscode for you written down on paper. I wouldn't suggest you go as far as to cut your hair, but if it's as simple as tucking in your shirt for an few hours...

What is your position at this company and for how long? How important are you to the success of this company? I'm curious about the CEO's reaction to you talking about the VP.. :)

Welcome to real life.

Tuck your shirt in, roll your sleeves up and get to work.
