Let's get Devo's Whipit aired on TRL today

I was just on fark and they are trying to get Devo's Whipit on TRL. All you need to do is go here and do a write in vote at the bottom of the screen or if you feel like calling then Call 1-800-DIAL-MTV (800-342-5688) starting at:
4:30pm - 5:00pm (Eastern)
3:30pm - 4:00pm (Central)
2:30pm - 3:00pm (Mountain)
1:30pm - 2:00pm (Pacific)

i wonder if they would lie and put a currently popular song up instead.....after all, who would know?

plus all the teeny boppers would freak out if their favorite "musicians" weren't in the top-whatever.

Back in my junior year of high school we got the entire school to vote for Ice Ice Baby, and it ranked in at 10.

HAHAHA, I also left them a nasty note as to why I picked DEVO and how they spew nothing but crap these days and need to realize that Rap and manufactured Pop music killed all that WAS great about MTV.

I actually remember being a part of that. Was in middle school at the time. It was one of those AOL chain mails everyone used to send around, so a whole bunch fo people wound up being a part of it.
 
I think this has been tried several times before, no matter how many votes it gets, they will catch on, and boot it from the list.

newsflash, MTV gets paid to play popular songs, they arent gonna waste a spot on something 20 years old that the record companies arent pushing anymore.
