hrm... this is a werid idea. Not sure if this is even legal. I guess it isn't a DoS attack.

Yes it is. You are rendering a service unusable so that others cannot get to it. It's a distributed denial of service.

Proxy server did not do to well with it. Speeds were very slow.

I then by-passed the Proxy server.. Sure is nice to be able to do that. :)

Then the speeds became nice.
we have a 1/4 DS3 at work with a backup t1. Thats 15mb a sec.. up and down..

But how would the crooks complain exactly? It's like a marijuana farmer complaining to the police that someone is stealing his plants.

Edit: I'd run it here at work but I have a feeling I'd get a call/visit from IT about all that bandwidth I used.
