oh my god. this thread is the pinnacle of dweebiness.

i hope thats a joke! this thread consists of:

1. a guy asking a "linux" question which sounded to be a pretty shaky question (as if he himself is not *that* sure of what's going on)
2. a bunch of people being confused

And then an accepted answer that is jsut a restatement of the question.
Q: "My car needs a new alternator, how do I fix it?"
A: "Put a new alternator in it"

yeah, i saw that answer and i was like "haha, what a sarcastic dumbass.." and then i read the next post and realize that it was accepted as a legit answer, amazing! 😛

Ok, this is a different spin on normal trivia games, but this is based on different things in the world of operating systems. Windows, Linux, Mac, etc.

I'll start off with the first one.

OS: Linux
Question: User logs into their shell, open their mail program and it says "Error: Mailbox must have 1777 protection" then flips to "Mailbox Vulnerable". What is the fix for this?

reformat - install windows 🙂

WTF? He's trying to fix a problem, not infect his computer with a virus!
