The question being posed is who amongst us lives on the highest building floor; ditto for working.

I'll start:

Live on: The 2nd floor
Work on: The 8th floor

No way I'll win this contest, but it'll be interesting to hear the replies.

Also remember that some people count floors differently. Ground level is sometimes "ground floor" and sometimes "1st floor," and the first floor above ground level is either "1st floor" or "2nd floor." Although that won't make much difference if someone lives in a high rise and works in a skyscraper.

I, sadly, only work on the 3rd floor of our 32 story complex. Kind of boring.

Ground floor. I'm ballin'. My old work (I'm still there) is in a single story building. My new work is in a two story building. Though studios are on the first floor which is likely where I'll be.

My house is a ranch with a basement. I spend most of the time in the basement, so I'd say I mostly live on floor -1.

I work on the 2nd floor of a 5 floor building.

You need to create a ratio, out of the total floors. That would be the only fair way to determine who literary works at the highest floor.

Live on 2nd (top) and work on 5th (middle).

Big cities folks like NYC will win for sure.

People working on the ground floor of a 1 story building would throw that off pretty quick!

Used to live 32nd (out of 32) and work 4th (out of 9?).

Now live in a house and work 15th (out of 16). Same company, I just moved and so did my office.

Live 1st floor. Work 1st floor, though I visit the 2nd floor to make photocopies occasionally. 3rd floor? I can't think of an office building with a 3rd floor within 10-15 miles of me.

Live on 1st floor.
Work on 7th floor (of 18). St. Louis, MO. If you were to walk behind this building and go about 7 blocks you'd be close to Busch Stadium.
