Since there has been a slew of new video cards and CPUs recently, let's have a thread that buyers can use for comparison to evaluate their purchase and see if any tweaking is needed to increase gaming performance.

I'll start:

CPU: A64 X2 4200+@2.7GHz (socket 939)
Video card: X1900XTX@675/797
Driver: Catalyst 6.3.
