I know if a man refers to a woman as "cute" that it's like the kiss of death because it really means he thinks she's good enough to do his laundry and clean his apartment so he can free up his time to go hunting teh Hotties that he really wants.I can't say if it means the same thing when a woman says it to a dude though,I've never gone for the type that could be even remotely refered to as "cute"

Well you're gonna have to give some detail. She meets you, says "hey, you're cute" and smiles. That means one thing.

You ask her out, or ask her what she thinks of you and she says "you're.....cute". That means another thing.
