Hi! boys and girls, it's time to tighten up the political scene and start the trickery up, just in time for Halloween
Here's an opening shot against Hispanic Minorities, allegedly by Asian Minorities.

And not to be outdone, Kansas Republican - 9 of them at latest count, have taken off their Wolf costumes . .
and are trying to pass as goats, or at least Donkeys.

Actually this is good news, the second part I mean. The Kansas GOP has been completely highjacked by Sam Brownback style Evangelicals who have infiltrated all levels of government. I think some sane people are starting to realize that they don't speak for Kansas as a whole.

As for the letter to hispanics.....whatever. There have been way more glaring examples of voter intimidation than this. It's sad to say but there have been several examples of this for the past 3 elections(and I'm sure long before that) with intimidation of blacks, and the railroading of McCain in southern states by Rove during the primary.

That's not "jumping ship".

That's just further proof the entire Political system in the U.S. is all part of the same club or as someone here put perfectly, "they are cut from the same cloth".

Very sad :(

From the article:

State investigators have linked a Republican campaign to letters sent to thousands of Southern California Hispanics warning them they could go to jail or be deported if they vote next month, a spokesman for the attorney general said.

The Los Angeles Times and The Orange County Register both reported Thursday that the investigation appeared to be focused on the campaign of Tan D. Nguyen, a Republican challenger to Democratic U.S. Rep. Loretta Sanchez .

The letter, written in Spanish, tells recipients: "You are advised that if your residence in this country is illegal or you are an immigrant, voting in a federal election is a crime that could result in jail time."

In fact, immigrants who are naturalized U.S. citizens can vote.

The thing I find interesting is that it is hispanic Vs hispanic.

They have learned to play dirty Politics well sadly. :(

Sanchez is probably hispanic---but I somehow doubt that Nguyen is hispanic.

But dirty political tricks are popular now a days---its all too rare that they caught.

But we need to revive an old American custom---and ride Karl Rove out of Washington, tar and feathered, on a rail----why do we vote for politicians who use those tactics----Nixon and GWB spring to mind.

Tan D. Nguyen, a Republican challenger to Democratic U.S. Rep. Loretta Sanchez.

That is just about as VIETNAMESE of a name as it can be, not Hispanic at all, but a PHONEY
Hispanic name was used as a singature line to make a point to the Hispanic population.

And in Kansas, Vote the Toto Ticket.

Wow, what's up with Kansas, indeed.

In a state that voted nearly 2 to 1 for President Bush in 2004, nine former Republicans will be on the November ballot as Democrats. Among them is Mark Parkinson, a former chairman of the Kansas Republican Party, who changed parties to run for lieutenant governor with the popular Democratic governor, Kathleen Sebelius.

So it that the new GOP strategy? Switch sides, call yourself a Democrat, get elected and then switch back? Oooooh, it's so Rovian.

There were about 5 or 6 members of the Congress who won in their districts as Democrats
then after the elections were certified changed their affiliation to GOP and were given committee chairs
or given huge financial incentives to offset their campaign costs. Almost all of them came from the South or Deep South.

Best part about 30 million illegals - 50 million of their children holding their culture and their values will be legal voting citizens before 2030, indicating only of those here today and not the continued millions of immigrants.

10-19-2006 Colorado Bureau of Investigation IDs Federal Agent Who Accessed Attack Ad Info for Republican Governor Candidate Bob Beauprez against opponent Bill Ritter

The Colorado Bureau of Investigation has identified the person who accessed a national criminal database and retrieved information that eventually appeared in a campaign ad by Republican gubernatorial candidate Bob Beauprez against opponent Bill Ritter. CBS4 has learned that person is a federal law enforcement agent from Colorado.

The CBI has also determined where the access happened and at exactly what time. The state agency has asked the FBI to assist the investigation as it tries to learn how the data got into a campaign ad.

The ad blasts Ritter for plea bargaining a case that involved an illegal immigrant and the distribution and possession of heroin while he was district attorney of Denver. The ad said the defendant was allowed to plea bargain the case, avoid deportation and was then later arrested in California for sexual abuse.

The Ritter campaign claims the information in the ad involving aliases must have been accessed illegally.

"There is an investigation ongoing," said John Marshall, Beauprez's campaign manager. "We're going to cooperate fully with law enforcement. We hope to bring it to resolution soon. Beyond that, we're not going to comment further."

The information came from the National Crime Information Center, a federal database available only to law-enforcement officials, CBI Director Robert Cantwell said.

"Because this is a federally controlled and regulated system, CBI has has requested the assistance of the FBI to further pursue the investigation," Cantwell said. "The FBI and CBI will be working jointly to complete the investigation."

Use of the federal criminal database for any purpose other than law enforcement is a crime punishable by fines and up to a year in prison.

The Republican idiot in Colorado should resign from the race immediately as well and also should be in jail.

Where is the liberal outrage over the NAACP ads telling black folks their churches will burn if Republicans are elected?

Or the recent rash of insults against black GOP candidates (Michael Steele comes right to mind...)

Don't pretend to be on the high horse with your pathetic, selective moral outrage.
