I jusst woke up from my firsst Homesstuck-themed dream bubble. It wass extremely interessting! Lemme tell you about it. :3
My hive wass decidedly ssimilar to a human dwelling, with wooden floorss and a very ordinary ssort of feel. Alsso, we had an Alchemiter-like device with all of the upgradess. ALL of them. It obvioussly musst have been a Betty Crocker product! Unlessss we were in the medium. In which casse, we had a damn Alchemiter. Now that I think about it, all the windowss were black, and it kinda felt like there wass nothing beyond them, ssorta like John'ss housse on that tall pillar. Land of Darknessss and Dragonss?
My lussuss wass alive, but insstead of being a little male sshoulder dragon, my lussuss wass a dragon about man-height at the sshoulder. AND FEMALE. I had a momdragon! 8D Then again, if all of the lussii were ssuppossed to die, maybe that wass one of the dragonss from my planet...?
Anyway, sshe wass cooking dinner in the kitchen (yess, dragonss can usse a sstove. Sshaddup). I left my Resspiteblock and went out to talk to her. We sspoke briefly (I won't ssay about what) and sshe went to take a nap while the food wass cooking. Sshe ssaid it would take a while, and assked me to keep an eye on thingss. Sso I went and checked it quickly, then noticed that our new houssemate wass up and around. Sshe wass pretty much a houssemaidbot. She wass the ressult when momdragon Alchemically combined a deactivated Aradiabot from a doomed timeline, a broom, a computer with a ssentience program (like Dirk'ss autoressponder), and a few other cleaning implementss, creating a mechanical houssemaid with artificial intelligence and, interesstingly, a complete knowledge of the possssible Alchemy combinationss. Sso sshe cleanss the hive, tellss uss what to combine when we want to Alchemize ssomething, and sshe makess good converssation! The cool part? Thiss makess her, like, the Handmaid...but a robot. Handmaidbot! 8D
There wass ssomething I'd been needing to make (I think there wass ssomething I wanted to clean perssonally, or one of the other trollss had assked about it). Sso I went to chat with Handmaidbot and assk her about ssomething I wanted to Alchemize.
> SI: Hey, do you know what I sshould combine to make sshoess that can be ussed for ssweeping?
> HB: 0f c0urse! Just c0mbine a pair 0f sh0es with a sh0e brush!
> SI: Oh, sso that'ss why it wassn't working. I wass ussing sshoess and a broom, and I kept getting broom sstiltss.
We talked a bit longer, and sshe wass way cool. ^^ Ssince Momdragon made her, sshe had alwayss sseemed kinda...empty. Like sshe wass jusst faking intelligence. Like sshe wass ssome kind of...robot! *Le gassp* And apparently, Momdragon had alwayss ssaid the ssame.
But in thiss converssation, Handmaidbot sseemed to open up, and I ssuddenly got to really ssee her perssonality. Sshe wassn't empty. Jusst sshy. :3
I wass sstill talking to her, and I woke up. :c I really enjoyed the dream while it lassted, though, and it felt completely normal (of coursse). Sso...yeah. I know more about Eltani now.
And the plot thickens...
