So my gf bought me a PSP for Christmas and everything was nice and awesome when I turned it on. We play it for one day, the next morning she goes to turn it on to play and there's a expletiveing black line going across the top half of the screen! It's like WTF is this shit!!! Not even expletiveing two days gone by and I get some stupid shit black line on the screen that won't go away? expletive Sony and their piece of shit products!!!! End rant....

Yes, your one malfunction must speak for everything sony makes. Wierd little lines usually just don't pop up with proper handling. Not to mention, im sure returning it won't be a problem so really it should be just fine.

That's too bad but it's also typical for almost all types and brands of electronics -- the first couple of hours of use is when a huge % of all defects show up.

Take it back, get another, be happy, switch to decaf

You have to compare it with the build quality of the DS, which is amazing. YES their first batch of DS's had a hinge problem, but Nintendo took care of your DS on the house. Now, about 1.5 yeas have gone by and no probs. As for Sony, this is like it's 3rd year with the PSP, and still BS like this happens? Not cool.
