I'm failing to understand the scam.

You think they're scamming because they've never sold something before?

I agree that they probably are scam auctions. It's very suspicious that someone's first sale on ebay would be for one huge lot of items worth $15,000 or $25,000 in a private auction. Could be a hacked account, but even if not I think anyone would have to be crazy to bid that kind of money on someone's first selling attempt on ebay.

I agree with you 100%, I have been looking to pick up a large lot but I cannot find the right seller.

Seeing as both auctions are worded almost exactly the same and with the same layout (except for whats being sold obviously) and are from different sellers I would say they probably are hacked accounts tbh

people copy other people's auctions all the time because they have no idea how to make one good in the first place. I dont see a problem.
