Title says it all.....one 8kha+ down and still searching for a good board. I have been to 4 forums now it seems like this is very wide spread and not just a few bad boards floating around.
 
hmmm...I've built 4 systems with the 8KHA+, inluding my own personal system. Not a single problem at all. Great board.
 
you are one of the lucky few then, over at AMD's bulletin board there are a ton of people having problems with this board. Also I hear there is a huge issue of stability when overclocked...I myself never even got mine to bring up a darn bios screen. Just sits there with fans spinning and a code of FF on the Led readout.
 
My Shuttle AK31 3.1 works great no problems. Talked to their tech guys with a USB question, they haven't had any show stoppers yet.
 
No problems with the ak31 version 3.1. Got into windows at 152 fsb, but with 2 different brands of ddram, it's almost impossible to run stable at this setting. I bet this board would have no problem with one stick of crucial.
 
😱I got my shuttle ak today and my xp 1700,damn now i must wait for coolerguys package to arrive!!!I have 2 sticks of crucial 256mb ddr ram,do you have to put them in the first two slots or does it not matter?
 
Motherboards usually dont eat chips, not putting the heatsink fan correctly upon installation does. Please dont start flaming EPoX, my board is working like a champ and so are MANY other peoples.
