Here is my cpu-z and my nvidia nview log file... can u let me know if im doing something thats damaging my components or any settings i should adjust?

thanks :)

Don't post those wall of text reports you copied. They are hard to read and it's hard to find the relevant information.

This is not the Gamespot forums. You'll have to make a sumary with the relevant information and post it if you want people to help you.

im wondering if everything looks ok... my gpu and cpu temps go from 55-69 when im playing lost planet extreme conditions... is that ok with air cooling?

is the pci-e bus correct?

is there any suggestions you can make to me? i just dont want to break anything.. i raised the fsb to 220 and lowered the ht multiplier to 4 so thats 880 htt right?
cpu volts at 1.55
mem is +0.25 whatever that means
the mem is lowered from 800 to 667

thats about all i know how to do lol... and i got my 8800gts 640mb version at 620/950 at 69c load... is that safe? can i get it higher without ruining the card>?

If your computer is working and stable, all is O.K. ..

That goes for temps also .. If it gets too hot, it will shut down ..

Enjoy your new system ...

Thanks... im just noob at overclocking lol... i finally got my fsb up to 244x12 and its testing now. It was solid at 240 for 5 hours with orthos. :)

1) Why does your sig say your memory is at 1068 ?
mines ddr800 o_O

2) Are these good temps? 57c for idle 2d seems a little high doesnt it?
http://i11.tinypic.com/66288i0.jpg

3) is there a better tool i can use to view temps on the cpu/gpu ?

Just a FYI
On speed fan:
Temp 1 - Mobo sensor for the CPU
Temp 2 - PWM area
Temp 3 - North Bridge

i tried to use coretemp and it says my temps are

idle
=========
core 1 30c
core 2 28c

load - orthos
=========
core 1 44c
core 2 43c

but speed fan says (under load)
temp 1 35c
temp 2 54c (wahts running at 54c?)
temp 3 38c
core 44c

EDIT:::::
ok thanks for that info above... whats PWM area? lol

looks ok. But voltage is kind of high. Maybe back down to 3.0ghz and see if you can significantly lower volts on cpu? It will lower cpu temps as well if you can do that

I have an opteron 180. load temp is 50c, idle 36. my gpu is an x1950xt , idle 55c, load depends on game. I've seen load into the 80's on it several times, however, so I can't imagine that 69c will hurt your card at all.
