Let me get this straight, I don't pay taxes from mwave, but I do for newegg?

My parts come out to around $60 for tax which is ridiculus, has anyone else considered taking their business elseware because they won't have to pay duty tax from a certain retailer?

Mwave is CA only. Newegg has warehouses in NJ...
I don't care about tax, but I do pay attention to the over all total.

I know, but that duty tax is still steep, I'm guessing shipping will take longer and cost more, I'll figure out what option makes more sense, because Mwave doesn't carry the ram I want for the system.

Usually, as far as I know, ZZZ has free 2-day shipping.

errrr, I just planned this whole rig and figured this out, thanks though, I'll look into it.

Prices for zipzoomfly are higher though, so it makes sense to buy from mwave and newegg.

Thats what you do. Compare the final price (after shipping and tax), and go with whichever one offers the best.

Don't forget ChiefValue (its run by Newegg, but sometimes offers slightly different pricing).

Never heard of it, I'll compare prices in a bit.

I just compared prices, I can save almost $80 using both mwave and newegg.

Or you can order parts from separate sites, like I do, so that you can get mass savings for instant win.

That's what I'm going to do, the graphics card, mobo and cpu are from mwave and everything else is from newegg.

It all depends on where you live. If your source has an outlet in your state - you pay tax. I live in Arizona - I pay tax on MWAV but not NewEgg or ZZF. Also, I always buy from someone West of me because UPS ground only takes 2.5 days. 🙂
