Lest We Forget

With the post-war order having now been shattered...
Once WW3 accelerates, no one is going to remember the first half of the 20th century.

I honor the memory of my grandfathers, who served humanity in the fight of its life. But now it is our turn.
 
My grandfather fought the Germans in France during WWI, my dad fought the Japanese in the Pacific theater during WWII, then to fight the Communists in Korea where he was killed…I went to Vietnam, my son went to Iraq/Kuwait during that fiasco.
No one who sees war gets out of it unscathed. At a minimum, we see things that no one should ever see…and can never be unseen.

What we now call “Veterans Day” was once known as Armistice Day…or Remembrance Day, depending on the country…but it was always “at the 11th hour…on the 11th day of the 11th month
