Yes that was outside Canada.I was just joking !

Now what was interesting about Vimy was the preparation Canadian troops had. For a couple weeks the commanders told the British Overlords who wanted the fight started to hang onto their tea bags while the Canadians studied the terrain, developed specific approaches to the battle and practiced the assult . Practiced. Nobody did much of that in those battles ! Smart boys they were and every Nov 11 we get out there at 11 am saying our thanks.Like today.
