Les Paul Gibson Flash Drive

Saw this at BB last week. Googled it today and it seems to be expensive as hell everywhere. A shame it's $80 bucks and only 1 GB (and probably slow and shitty)

lol I would buy it if it was umm much cheaper, it actually looked interesting. I also noticed an external Les Paul DVD burner that was something like $250 bucks. Checked the box and it wasn't anything but a burner in a casing that lit up and said Les Paul. As you said people will buy the shit so why not sell it? I wish I had a name that slapping it on some shit could bring in 4x what it's worth 🙂

BAH! Every BB in the country probably has a huge stack of these. "Collectors Edition" to me should mean it's something in limited production that's going to require effort to locate. A 1 GB flash drive is worth like $8 max. an $80 premium for something I bet they made a million of... I dunno man. Les Paul is ripping people off. BB also has Les Paul blank DVDs which were 3x the price of the rest.

The only part of this I'll disagree with is:

Les Paul is ripping people off.

IF Les Paul is involved at all, (I thought he was dead) then I have no problem with him making money off of people who are making money off his name...
He has the right to protect how his name is used...and to either prevent them from using it, or making money if they do.
