"The giant cat raced out of cover provided by scrub and bushes to surprise the crocodile, which was swimming nearby.

A terrible and bloody struggle ensued. Eventually, onlookers were amazed to see the leopard drag the crocodile from the water as the reptile fought back."

I didn't read that part. Damn, that is amazing. The water had to be pretty shallow though.

Bingo. A big croc, one of the thousand pound varieties, would eat that kitty in one bite.......

My girlfriend: "I think it's just trying to hug the crocodile. Look at the first photo... they look happy."

Pretty sweet pics. The article said the meat you get out isn't worth the risk. Must be hard for the kitteh to even get at it with the croc's skin being so tough.

Is it sad that the first thing I thought when I saw the picture was "Kitty!"

Small croc, a bigger croc and it would have been a different story. That Leopard must have been starving to have to resort to attacking a croc.

I don't know. My old cat, Friskus, used to be the lizard pwning champ of the neighborhood. We fed her well. Same scenario here maybe...
