Leopard incompatibility with an older game?

I upgraded to 10.5 a few weeks ago, and got the urge the other day to fire up Medal of Honor (quake 3 engine, if that helps)- black screen. I can hear the intro sequence, and I see the orange screen when I minimize/maximize the window with cmd-H, but nothing else.

This is my 1.67GHZ Powerbook, the generation just before the high-density display models were released. 9700 Pro 128MB, with 2GB of system RAM.
Thoughts?

have you looked on the maker's webpage, see if there is an update? Or Apple's website?

I'd checked Aspyr's website, but not the Apple games page- direct link to the patch on Macgamefiles. Thanks!
