Leonard Cohen - The Traitor

I can't stop listening to this song. You can watch Martha Wainwright's rendition here. I personally like it better than Leonard Cohen's version.

However, the facial expressions she makes in the video are just so ugly. I can barely concentrate on the song because I can't stop thinking about the ugly faces she makes when I watch it. Look at the video and you'll know what I'm talking about, especially during the last few seconds on the song.

Leonard Cohen is the only person who can sing Leonard Cohen songs effectively. Nobody else has the voice and the attitude to match that material.

Two counter-examples:
Concrete Blonde - "Everybody Knows"
Jeff Buckley - "Hallelujah"

Both versions are different from the originals, yet just as good in my opinion.
