i'm happy i held off buying this classic. great for fans of Natalie Portman and Jean Reno i almost bought the last edition till i heard this one was coming.

yea, this version came out last week.


there were two other releases originally, and their picture quality was kinda shoddy, i rented it. the features were at superbit level either, so no point in having the old ones

Anyways, before any of you ebay your international uncut copies, according to the DVDtalk reviewer,
the superbit version is visually less impressive than the international uncut version.

This is a really cool movie. I rented it many years ago when I had never heard about it and I love it. Teaching the little kid to be a hitwoman. How cool is that...

Don't see how Superbit would really help this film out. Much like Desperado it just has a softer/grainier look to it.

And all of those Amazon reviews seem to be for the older, non-Superbit version and no mention of any increased video quality.

I already have the International (Un-cut) version and most likely won't replace it.
