Lens fell out of my olympus c-765 camera, lost it. Looking to repair it.

Only the outermost piece of glass is missing. Olympus quoted me $150 to repair it, but that's just outrageous, I could get a new camera for less than that. Where can I find a replacement lens?

You could try asking a local camera repair shop for a quote. If you still don't like the price, look on eBay and some of the camera sale forums for a used c-765. If you can find one that doesn't work but has an intact lens, you can probably get it very cheap.

You have to contact Olympus' parts department. Say that you want to purchase the front element.

This is very strange though. Front elements don't just "pop off." They are usually (always) held in place by a rotating locking ring. This locking ring either somehow unscrewed itself it was destroyed, so you'll have to buy the locking ring as well as the front element, as well as try and make the proprietary spanner tool that is used to tighten the locking ring. But locking rings don't just pop off either. Perhaps the threads have been stripped. Perhaps the lens barrel itself is damaged, resulting in the locking ring popping out along with the front element.

Time to buy a new camera; any money invested in your C-765 at this point its life cycle is a waste. If you want a tiny 10X zoom, pick up a used/new Panasonic TZ1 on eBay. Or get a Canon SX100 IS.
