Lens Crafters

Anyone have experience with Lens Crafters? They have a $100 off coupon on eyeglasses which is a lot. Are their eyesglasses expensive?

Lens Crafter is probably one of, if not the most, expensive chain to get glasses at. I used them at first, ages ago, and I have not been back since. Most others have better or similar quality at better prices.

Read the fine print on the coupon to see if they'll rope you into buying the high end frames if you want to use it.

Lens Crafters my ass..

I'm going to bust in there and demand they make me a 6x telephoto lens for my A60.

😛

If you are a AAA member you get 30% off at Lens Crafters, which makes the prices a lot more appealing. That discount is better than any of the coupons they give out.

Their one-year warranty is better than most other places, at least around here.

hm good heads up. i didn't know🙂

Luxotica(Lenscrafters) is the #1 optical shop in U.S, with ECCA(eyemasters, etc etc) trailing in 2nd.

they carry kickass brand name design frames. In terms of lenses, If you know what you are looking for, you can find the same material lenses in almost any other optical store.
I would say go to lens crafters, and tell them about your prescription, and let them tell you exactly what type of lenses and coatings they reccommend, and then go somewhere else to find the same thing at a cheaper price if possible. ask about warranty too.
