If you have a LenovoEMC NAS unit (IOMEGA) brand, seems like caution should be given.

A hacker gang is wiping Lenovo NAS devices and asking for ransoms

Ransom notes signed by 'Cl0ud SecuritY' hacker group are being found on old LenovoEMC NAS devices.

I think Ibread that its problematic if you expose your management interface to the internet and have NO password. Well, yeah pretty much ANY system can have problems in that scenario. I don't know if it's considered hacking if there is no password and the content is open to the world.

I am not sure the dude who takes the LCD TV you left at the curb is really a thief either.
