someone says windows xp sp2 will eventually find drivers for it.

likewise you can try downloading dell's web cam driver for the xps m1330

This is what i did
1. Updated Windows XP Professional SP2 (verison 5.1.2600) to the most latest and greatest update.
2. Tried to check if the camera is working .. It did not
3. Downloaded a integrated camera creative drive from dell .. website . here's the link
[editted url, since old one doesn't work]http://www.dell.com/support/drivers...leId=2731101596&languageCode=en&categoryId=IN

4. Installed the above driver, restarted the system
5. After restart press Fn+Esc key .. to enable the camera. (You should see a small pic icon on the right side bottom of the screen)
6. The hardware wizard will detect a new USB Webcam and wollah ..satisfcation atlast...

the dell link in my post was editted (the lenovo thread's from 2007), since the original url directed toward an outdated page for the the xps m1330

here it is again, since you may have missed it
http://www.dell.com/support/drivers...leId=2731101596&languageCode=en&categoryId=IN

if this link doesn't work, you should go to the dell site and search for xps m1330 drivers and select the input tab, the creative labs laptop integrated webcam should be the last option.
