I am selling my T61 and I tried to push the blue Thinkvantage button on startup but I don't see an option for R&R, only going into BIOS, start normally or another boot device. I recently ran R&R from windows to make the DVDs, so I booted from the first, it then said put the OS disk in. So I put the Product Recovery Disk 1 in and it said wrong disk. What, so that process won't install the OS???

You should be able to download all Thinkvantage software from Lenovo.

It does not make an OS disk....it just makes 7 cd's which contain an image of the factory shipped harddrive, which contains an image of Windows.

Edit:

BTW, I had the same messege, but I just hit ok and it asked for cd 1.
